These were worth below forty pesos. I’ve been gravitating towards purple polish lately. Who knew red and purple look great together? The Jocarste glitter polish was the last one at the Shawill booth in SM North. Lucky!

Yep, you read right. Shawill, again! haha

I used these two Orly polishes from my boyfriend’s Mom as base.

And these were the glittery results! Happiness!

What’s great about glitter polish is that you don’t need precision. Glitter polish is best applied in dabbing motions instead of the usual sweep over the nail. Put on two coats of “Top Coat” to ensure less chipping.

Mini Nail Polish Haul!

It’s best to build up the basics in nail polish like whites and other neutral shades. The green nail polish was just too pretty to resist! Careline nail polishes were on sale at Php 10.00 each! Bobbie and Caress were Php 30.00+ and Php 20.00+.

Can you tell that this collection is going to get bigger this year? haha Looking at nice nails never fail to put a smile on my face. Also, it’s a subtle way to express yourself! Good vibes for the start of the year!

I have been hearing about another store that has been making trends on the Twitter world lately and oh-em-gee I just had to check it out!

Saizen is another shopaholic’s dream. Who doesn’t love Japanese stores like Saizen? You could spend hours just browsing through the little knick-knacks trying to figure out what they were for. From food, kitchen tools, gardening tools, cosmetics, bath products, clothing, pet essentials and toys, your whole family will enjoy a visit to Saizen!

Let me share the things I bought:

White-framed vanity mirror, portable spoon-fork-chopsticks with case, rechargeable LED flashlight. You have to check out the flashlight! It doesn’t use batteries nor need to be plugged. You just have to pump it several times and it creates energy to light up! Cool, huh?

How much is Shawill Curling Mascara?

Php 188.00! There was also a smaller tube of this for about Php 144.00. Available at all leading department stores!

What I like about Shawill Curling Mascara:

• The affordable price!
• No strong smell.
• Sleek black packaging. I like that it came with instructions!
• Volumizes averagely. As you can see in my photos above, one coat of mascara gives my lashes enough volume for a natural, daytime look.
• Waterproof enough. I like that I don’t get raccoon eyes when I splashed my face with water.

What I don’t like about Shawill Curling Mascara:

• Clumps if not applied evenly. Definitely not for hurried makeup!
• Doesn’t dry quickly.
• When I tested out its waterproof qualities, there were some fall outs.
• Smudges if rubbed hard enough.
• Didn’t curl my lashes. Probably because it’s meant to make already curled lashes stay up longer.

I couldn’t photograph my whole face because of my messy hair. haha Also, as much as I wanted to do green eyes-red lips combo, I wasn’t mentally prepared for striking color on my face. Gold and brown are neutral colors so it’s a subtle festive look.
